A little more Gold today.

The beach was extremely wide today due to the 0.1m low tide and so I found myself covering a heck of lot of ground for just a few finds - but I got Gold so happy as again for the second time this week.  The ring is 10ct with small ice and the ear ring 925 however the chain and crucifix is not silver.

Thanks for looking.

4 Rings Today

I was very pleased with today's beach finds. 4 rings total. One 9ct with stones probably not real, one plain 9ct band, a 925 triple ring and a stainless spinner ring. Also a 925 chain. The other chain in the pic is not silver. Plus $1.00 and a fat lead sinker. The beach I visited had recently had a big sand movement despite the calm weather and soft clay was visible in many places making hunting more interesting.

Thanks for looking. Hope you all had good hunts too.

Karen Walker silver

Had a busy hunt on the beach late this afternoon with plenty of targets but little of note. However I was quiet pleased to get what is probably my first piece of modern NZ silver in this Ladybird ring stamped .925 and kw which I assume is Karen Walker design.

Might go back as I ran out of light.

Shifting sands

Today I went back to the beach hoping the morning King tide had shifted some sand and it had but not really to suit detecting. I had a go anyway and did manage to find one area that had been lowered quite a lot which gave up this unusual brooch that might be silver although I can't see any marks.

Here is the rest of it.
$5.00, a silver NZ threepence 1933 and silver ear stud.

Thanks for looking.
