Silver before the storm

Today I searched on two city beaches for the 9 am low tide. Conditions were quite invigorating  as it was very windy with cyclone Pam approaching. The kite surfers were out in force too making the most of the conditions with most achieving amazing speeds across the waves.

On the first beach I found the 925 ear ring and on the second the Sterling bangle. The bangle weighs 16 grams and has a Turquoise panel insert of an unknown material. The ear ring is only 2.1 grams.

My hunt on Friday evening produced 4 rings which unfortunately all turned out to be junkers despite looking great when they came out of the muddy sand. However finding the second ring of the "set" was quite cool as it was my first ever successful application of the spiral out search from the first ring position.
